Camp Learning story

Believe you can and you're halfway there. Theodore Roosevelt Camp Makahika 2019. For me the most useful learning I done at camp was when I did orientering with my buddy (Deyva).  When I went to do orientering with my buddy, we went round campgrounds to find clippers so we could clip the numbers of our paper we were given to. During orientering I was able to Manage Myself because without a teacher me and my buddy were able to make good choices, follow what our instructor said to us and behave ourselves. This learning can help me in the future because we mistakes in this challenge but we learnt from them so we can all learn from the mistakes.   The most important thing that I will learn from is the bush walk. At the time I didn’t think this would happen but I got picked to be leader for the first bit of our walk. After having experienced the walk, I felt exhausted because every time we stopped I would look at my watch and say in my head “4 hours already, 4 HOURS!”...

Nelson Mandela Every Mondays at 1:30 straight after Polyclub, I go into our own language classroom we take our Cook Island lessons. In Cook Island I (with other Island kids) get taught months, days, numbers and other things (In Island). I enjoy doing my language because this teaches me how to use my language in the future. It helps me to get better at understanding what my Island grandparents say to me.

Awesome cooking Don’t just cook it, create it. - Myself This picture is me cooking a pikelet(s). Every Thursdays the year 7/8’s go to Brandon Intermediate from 12:30 - an hour. Right now I am in singing - but this is about cooking. I enjoyed being in cooking not only did we just cooked each week but we also learned different types of recipes I learned a vegetarian hamburger. Cooking helped me by learning recipes so that in the future when I have my own family I know that I can cook up easy cool quick meals.

Extrondairy Maths Mistakes are proof that you are trying Unknown This is one of the maths problems that I have done in that I had done the last term. I enjoy doing math because each day/week I go down I get taught Different things.   Learning maths helps me by learning new things like the perimeter, area, lengths, and square meters.

Road Safety If you’re worried about falling on a bike, you'd never get on it Lance Armstrong In pedal ready, there were two groups. I was in the second group. Even though there were two groups we still did the same learning as each other. What I like about pedal ready was that we both went to Bothamley Park on Warspite Cres. The first group went to Bothamley Park, then we went to Bothamley Park the next day. This not only helped me by being safe on the road. This helped me by, let’s say I was a driver and there was a biker on the road or in front of me If that bike signals a sign I would give that biker way. So it helped me by also learning how to keep others safe on the road.

My amazing Art Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up. Pablo Picasso My artwork is about peace. I enjoyed working on this artwork because I got to draw about how I want to share my message about peace. These artworks of mine art has a lot of words but only one keyword: p.e.a.c.e, violence is apart of it but that the problem not the meaning. My goal in my peace art is to “Spread PEACE not VIOLENCE”
