Camp Learning story
Believe you can and you're halfway there. Theodore Roosevelt Camp Makahika 2019. For me the most useful learning I done at camp was when I did orientering with my buddy (Deyva). When I went to do orientering with my buddy, we went round campgrounds to find clippers so we could clip the numbers of our paper we were given to. During orientering I was able to Manage Myself because without a teacher me and my buddy were able to make good choices, follow what our instructor said to us and behave ourselves. This learning can help me in the future because we mistakes in this challenge but we learnt from them so we can all learn from the mistakes. The most important thing that I will learn from is the bush walk. At the time I didn’t think this would happen but I got picked to be leader for the first bit of our walk. After having experienced the walk, I felt exhausted because every time we stopped I would look at my watch and say in my head “4 hours already, 4 HOURS!”...
